Life is getting back to normal - normal being packing to move back to Cornwall and gettin all that grrrr moving stuff sorted. I'm trying to whittle down our posessions. Of course, it's gardening time, which is not a brilliant time to move, but today I couldn't resist collecting a little WATERCRESS as we strolled along (and in!) the river earlier - it must have just begun sprouting:
I luuuuurve it with mayonnaise (for vegans, that pea-based one is really good), olive oil and apple vinegar in a potato salad. This evening, wer just had it in a salad with a YUM dressing (3TSP OLIVE OIL, 1TSP HOMEMADE GARLIC OIL, JUICE OF ONE LIME, 1TSP APPLE VINEGAR, 1TSP BALSAMIC, 2TSP WALNUT OIL, HALF TSP SALT, HALF TSP PEPPER, 1TSP DRIED MINT, 1TSP JEREZ SHERRY VINEGAR) - complicated yes, but fantastic!
A couple of other things I have had my beady little eye on:
This pendant by Amy from Mystarrrs - vibrant, delicate, olde-worldey - I like.
OK it is early and I'm going to have to retire again...well, I might watch some Mighty Boosh soon...
Thanks for checking in on me! It's going to take a couple of days, but I should have some more paintings to show you soon!
