Morning! - A chilly one here - it feels like it's really wanting to snow!
Concerning the title of this post, Ms Austen mustn't have seen my home! Well, maybe it isn't so much that I do housework in a slovenly manner, rather that time seems to be absolutely filled with things which MUST be done and kept up to, then while my back is turned sorting out those tasks, somehow, piles of paperwork materialise behind me and it tends to take a long time to find any extra time to go through it. That's all it is - paperwork. Where does all the paper come from?! Surely, I must fill a 2' x 1' basket with paper recycling every day. HOW???! Is it just me, or do you have this problem too? Are there malevolent paper pixies trying to ruin our lives? What did we ever do to them? Oh...maybe it's the wood elves...yes, I suppose they would have reason to be annoyed at our destroying their forests... Anyway, enough of my inane babblings...

Yes - lots and lots of Austen-esque, Recency-style painting. I've been concentrating more on the original 18th Century fashion plate paintings and drawings, with those whimsical, dreamy poses. I have had an inspiration wall in front of me too:
